What we collect and why
Contact form and email
When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: company or organization, contact person, email address, phone number and your message. We use these details only to respond to you and to handle your request. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or because you ask us to take steps towards an agreement.
Website statistics
We use WP Statistics, which runs on our own website, to see how the site is used. IP addresses are anonymized and hashed, browser details are not stored, and “Do Not Track” requests from your browser are respected. We do not use these statistics to identify you, and we do not share them with third parties.
Spam protection
Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page, including your IP address, and sends it to Google. Google may set cookies for this and may process this data outside the European Union, including in the United States. See Google’s privacy policy.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies on our website. Apart from the reCAPTCHA cookies described above, the website only uses what it needs to work properly.
Social media and our publishing tool
We have accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. When you visit or interact with those accounts, the privacy policy of that platform applies.
We use an internal tool, PANOUT Dashboard, to publish our monthly agenda posts to our own company accounts through the official platform APIs. Only the Panout team uses this tool. It holds access credentials for our own accounts only. It does not collect or store personal data about visitors, followers or other users of these platforms.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us run our website and email, such as our hosting and email providers, and with Google for reCAPTCHA as described above. We may also share data when the law requires us to.
How long we keep your data
We keep your messages and contact details only as long as we need them to handle your request and any working relationship that follows, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorized access.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To use these rights or to ask us to delete your data, email info@panout.nl. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
